We've viewed scenes from the Drive through Market.  Well, about halfway through the Summer, they started a walk through market.  By appointment only, so the crowds could be limited.....

The Drive-up Farmer's Market

Today I shared views of some of our purchases from the Drive Up Farmer's Market in Longmont, Colorado.  Thought I'd share some views of the "Market" because it may be going away.  They've pend the walk through market now.

Held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds, the regular home of one of three major Farmer's Markets in Boulder County.

You place the order o Wednesday and pick it up on the Weekend at your assigned time.

Orders waiting.........and delivered.  They place the order in the back of your car.  No Direct contact.

Farmer's Market Haul

Our Longmont Farmer's Market has decided to take online orders on Wednesdays for its regular Farmer Participants and distribute the veggies (and more grocery items too) on Saturday. The is a typical weekly order for us.  Exotic mushrooms in the white bags:

More playing around with the 403 UV pass filter

Here's a test of the 403 filter again, but this time I converted it to B&W. I need to try this again and shoot with both the 403 filter and a standard IR filter to see the difference.

Not sure what this guy is? Some sort of migratory water bird. Since I had the camera and the giant lens lens out already to shoot the humming bird and bunnies, I stopped at Walden Ponds on the way home to see what I could shoot there.

The baby bunnies are quite numerous this year. This guy was curious about me and kept coming closer, making it easier to make some shots.

The nest was shown to me by a coworker. Its in a tree just outside where I work. So I came back over the weekend with my 600 mm lens for my digital camera and started shooting. The images are a bit soft, so I'm going to have to work on that, but it was a fun exercise.
