At the Outlet Mall

We made a trek to one of the larger outlet malls near Castle Rock........But we found a much more interesting 'outlet' across the road:

A very dirty lens, but the grit adds to the mood of the place.

Mardi Gras!

Our regional habitat for Humanity had a season kick-off cooking event this past weekend.  My Church had a Mardi Gras theme for their Texas Brisket.........

What we did after Santiago?

A clue to our next adventure. Not one that I think we are likely to do again....

By the way the white is the remnants of a summer hail storm.

No I haven't been hanging out with the Aliens....

Although they are reported to be hiding near Area 51.

But an explanation nfor my absence can be found here.  We are not going on hiatus, but I will probably only make weekly postings for a while.

How does your garden grow?

Our ten day old seedlings of tomatoes and squash.

We are starting a container garden this year.

The peppers (right side) somehow 'forgot' to sprout.

This was taken a couple of days ago. They are already larger.
