In search of Totality

For the 2017 American eclipse we drove north east to Nebraska in order to experience the totality. Back in December I booked a room in Sidney NE, which is 80 miles south of Alliance NE. We choose Alliance because it is only town in Western Nebraska close to the centerline of the eclipse path. We woke up Monday morning and looked out the motel window to this;

Pea soup thick fog. We drove for an hour and a half through the fog and reached Alliance around 9am. We had reserved space on some private land and set up multiple cameras to record the event.
