Looking North West into Boulder toward the Indian Peaks. The Valmont Generating Station is in the foreground. It consists of the old coal-fired steam-electric generating unit and the newer natural gas-fired turbines. There is discussion about shutting down the coal powered part of the station.
Those mountains really are stunning.
