The old gas station in Bristol Colorado. Our Colorado ghost towns guide listed Bristol as having some interesting buildings. When we got there we discovered that while not thriving, Bristol was still holding its own. The gas station was being restored by the son of the owner. He would drive over from Denver on the weekends to do the work. The locals were friendly once we broke the ice and had some wonderful stories about life in southern Colorado.
