Here is another shot from the Guy Tal workshop up Hunter's Canyon in Moab Utah. When we were let loose to shoot, I headed away from the crowd toward the canyon wall and found this great boulder with wonderful swirls and patters.

On Friday we took a workshop with Guy Tal and hiked up Hunters Canyon to shoot. On the way out, with the light fading, I passed by this wash and made a photograph.

Kathleen waiting for sunset near balanced rock, in Arches National Park, Utah. The last two days there the clouds came in thick along the horizon near sunset, but this day looked like they might break. They didn't, but the sky was nice to the west. 

Just got back from the 2014 Moab Photo Symposium. It was a great experience. Learned a lot. Still decompressing and absorbing everything we heard.
