Tomato Apocalypse

We had our first tomatoes from the planters last night. They were yellow, plum sized, and delicious. Our first harvest was a part of sweet peppers, but I've lost the photos of those. Looking at the plants this AM clearly we're going to be overwhelmed in the next few weeks.

Camera Test: Nikon 1 V1

A neighbor was kind enough to loan me his Nikon 1 V1 mirror-less interchangeable lens digital camera. I took it out around the neighborhood today to see what it could do. I was prepared to be underwhelmed, and its operation is a bit strange coming from a DSLR perspective, but the quality of the images blew me away.
