More a stump now than a tree


This was one of my favorite trees in our area. It was old and scared and gnarled. Slowly the city has been chopping away at it. It is now more of a stump than a tree. its former self is now only a memory.

    Poor tree. They should probably remove the rest and plant something else there.

    when i walked by this AM it was putting out tiny branches with buds. Its refusing to let go.
