Butterfly Pavilion 4



The markings on this one remind me of the California Condor. Specifically the white patch on a black body, and the red head.

    I just read a sad story about the Monarch butterflies and how loggers have destroyed their overwinter forest in Mexico. This has been going on for some time and may account for my seeing only one Monarch butterfly last year.
