New Snow at Long Lake
Went hiking again at Long Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Snowed on us the whole time. The ground was covered with a good 4-6 inches of fresh snow. I suspect that our after work hikes will be ending pretty soon with the onset of winter.
Beautiful - I really like the mountains in the mist in the background. Have you tried taking a shot from in the river with a tripod? That might make for a really interesting perspective.
Maybe next year. I can report to you for Donald that the road has been closed for the season. And with heavy snow predicted for the next 24 hours. We won't be back here before Next May.
Thats a good idea. Unfortunately that day the river was shin deep and it was snowing, so I declined getting wet. The roads were closed this Monday when I headed up there, so this is the last of the shots in the area until spring.
