Wall and shrub

Another IR image. Played with the saturation to bring out the false colors from the IR. The location is just south of Ward and the Peak to Peak highway.

Glow

Was visiting one of the Boulder nurseries over the holiday weekend and happened on this glowing backlit palm. Got permission from the owners and came back with my camera. It needs some more work, but this is a start.

Labor Day commemorates "the communists, the socialists, the unwelcome agitators, the filthy liberal scum, the corrupt big labor and the misguided utopian radicals" who fought for the 40 hour work week, minimum wage, family leave, health insurance, Social Security, Medicare, retirement plans. and all of the other cornerstones of the American middle class.

In the Navy now

Visiting Japan sometime just after the end of the Korean War (1953+). My father was stationed out of Hawaii, but got to visit Japan during leave.
