Winter Guest?
I was clearing dead plants and leaves from the yard last weekend and found this burrow:
Watched for a few days and there was no new activity. It later collapsed in the rain. So it seems that some furry critter spent the winter hibernating in my flower beds. Ruler for scale. Any ideas who this may have been?
Happy First Day of Spring!

Panoramic
This is my first test of our Panoramic Horizon camera. It captures a panorama by sweeping the lens in an arc along the horizontal. The photo was taken in my Mother's back yard in CA. Notice the distorted lines of the trellis. I haven't quite figured this camera out.

Weekend Gardening Update
The weather has been in the 70's. But we locals know that it's never safe to plant outdoors before Mother's Day.
So my seedling are safe indoors. Adding Squash & Asparagus to the new planter:
So far giving them 24 hours of light......has produce one "mutant" plant:
Sprouting a full two weeks after the other plants and growing at an enormous rate. My Castor Bean Plant will be given a new home tomorrow.

Tomatoes & Peppers, Close-Up
A closer look at our baby plants:
And Below, the autofocus didn't. Or rather it focussed on the outside of the plastic dome, rather than on the plants. But still interesting.

Making Progress:
This is what our indoor garden looked like earlier this week. Tomorrow a real-time update. Hint: it's grown a lot in a week!
