Feeding time

These guys get fed large hunks of frozen chicken or beef. They crunch the bones as if they're crackers.

Pretty girl

She is one of the pair of Arctic wolves at the center. a trivia fact is that they are so warm they don't winter in their dens. They use their dens in the summer to get out of the heat. 

Not a Puppy

At least not a dog puppy. This is a wolf puppy at the center named Keyni.

Memorial Day

Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center

The Colorado Wolf and Wildlife  Center, near Colorado Springs houses a variety of canids in addition to wolves. Here's a fox, rescued from a fur farm enjoying the warm day. The white coat is due to selective breading for their fur.

Lafayette Art night Out

The city of Lafayette has started their summer festivals for the 2013 season with Lafayette's Art night Out. All of the local businesses stayed open late, and the city hosted a free concert by Hey Lady, a B 52's cover band.
