Common Iris

Here's another flower pix from last spring. I'm told these are Asian Irises. This one is from last year. This year's crop were damaged by the recent snow storm.

Rocky Mountain Columbine

The Columbine is the state flower of Colorado. This one was taken at Rocky Mountain National Park last June.

Here are a couple different Irises from last year's garden.

Poppies

Yesterday's image was a Poppy pod. These were taken last spring. Everything in the yard was either damaged or is late because of the heavy spring storm we just had.



Notice the bud on the left of the frame? That was yesterday's image.



Here are a couple of close ups showing greater detail. I love the marking at the base of the flower.

My Favorite is located on Mt Evans.  

I hope the winter up there has been harsh enough up there to keep my tree friends alive.

The road opens around May 31st, so we'll see then.

How does your garden grow?

Our ten day old seedlings of tomatoes and squash.

We are starting a container garden this year.

The peppers (right side) somehow 'forgot' to sprout.

This was taken a couple of days ago. They are already larger.
