Ice House Brewery

Here is a perspective corrected photo of the Ice House Brewery. And here is the original.

Clearly the vertical lines of the building edges are distorted in the second image, but the corrected image also seems off to me. I can't quite put my finger on it, but something "feels" wrong with the first image.

Playing with a new old camera. Its a 4x5 Press Camera. Decided to photograph this building and silo that I pass every day on the way to work.

Motion flower #1

The trick to getting this image is to shoot with a slow shutter speed, and change the zoom while the shutter is open.

Spherical Reflection

Another shot made at Eli Vega's Right Brain Macro workshop.

Each workshop participant brought in a collection of interesting objects to photograph. This sphere came with one person and the hand from another.

Adding a different context to the metallic sphere.

Shooting outside the box

Took a macro right brain photography workshop with Eli Vega about a month ago. Eli likes to get us to look a little differently at the things we typically shoot. Here I tried working with the lighting on the feather.

Two slightly different takes on the peacock feather.

Lumen Prints

Lumen printing is a way to make photography without a camera. Just photographic paper, a few objects, and the sun.

The following blog link describes the process and shows a few more examples.
