Because tripods are not allowed with in the church this image was shot hand held, braced against one of the pews using natural light.

The mission has recently tightened their rules about photography on the Mission grounds. Tripods have been added to list of banned items. Rules like this are becoming increasingly more common as photographers wear out their welcome by misbehaving in these sort of spaces.

Chihuly Exhibit at the Denver Botanical Gardens

This is the first of a series of images made on October 21st of 2014 of the Chihuly exhibit at the Denver Botanical Gardens. During the month of October the Gardens allowed the public to visit the exhibits after dark.
